
Mehmet Sitki Copur, MD FACP
Dr. Copur graduated from medical school at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. He served an Internal Medicine Residency, also in Turkey, before completing an internship and residency, both at Chicago Medical School in Chicago. His medical oncology fellowship was at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Copur is an adjunct faculty professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Internal Medicine Division of Hematology/Oncology.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, and serves on numerous committees. In 2017, Dr. Copur became a member of an expert panel charged with updating the Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer guidelines for the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Copur is a fellow in the American College of Physicians, and has been heavily involved in research and clinical trials.
