Dr. Donovan received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. She completed her internal medicine internship at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri, and her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. Dr. Donovan is board certified in pain medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine and board certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. She has over 20 years of experience in treating pain patients in Nebraska, and excels in treating a wide variety of pain conditions in the spine and other areas. Dr. Donovan helps patients get back to the life they were once living by performing treatments such as epidural steroid injections, radio-frequency neuroablation for spondylosis or migraine treatment, vertebral insufficiency fractures with kyphoplasty, and Botox injections.

As part of the treatment process, Dr. Donovan includes multiple modalities of treatment including physical therapy, chiropractic care, medication management strategies, and behavioral therapies, to treat a variety of chronic pain issues.
