Dr. John Pflug received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska in 1989. He completed his surgical residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita, Kansas. His ear, nose, and throat residency was completed at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Pflug is board certified in Otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology.
