Bethany Childers brings over two decades of experience in healthcare human resources, beginning her journey in the field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. With a deep-rooted family legacy—spanning four generations in the same skilled nursing facility—Bethany’s passion for healthcare has always been personal and purposeful.

Her career includes leadership roles with some of the region’s most respected healthcare organizations. She served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Banner Health’s Ogallala Community Hospital from 2000 to 2014, and as HR Director for Methodist Fremont Health from 2014 to 2020, where she played a key role in guiding the organization through its merger with Methodist Health System. From 2020 to 2022, she served as Chief Operating Officer for the State of Iowa’s HR Enterprise.

Bethany joined York General in January 2022, drawn by the organization’s strong sense of community, mission-driven culture, and the opportunity to help create one of the best workplaces in healthcare.

Bethany holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Regis University.
