Oncology and Infusion Services

York General Oncology offers cancer care from the time of diagnosis, throughout treatment, and following treatment as needed.  The Oncology team consists of registered oncology nurses, a dietitian, pharmacists, and social work staff.  This team approach to cancer treatment allows patients to have the best care under the supervision of their own oncologists.

York General Oncology offers:

York General Infusion Services

York General Infusion Services are available for the convenience of patients who require intravenous (IV) infusions of medications or related services.  These are provided within the department or after hours in the inpatient area of the Hospital.  These services are ordered by medical providers and are designed especially to meet the needs of patients with:

  • Blood disorders
  • Cancer
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Hydration needs
  • Infections requiring antibiotics
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis

Experienced RNs at York General Infusion Services specialize in intravenous and related treatments including:

  • Treatment of Osteoporosis
  • Bladder Instillations
  • Chemotherapy & Immune Therapy
  • IV Immune Globulin
  • Hydration therapy
  • Intramuscular & Subcutaneous Injections
  • IV antibiotic administration
  • Transfusion of blood products
  • All other IV related medications
